Conditions of Participation
Terms of the competition
The AdventSKYlender will take place from December 1 until 24, 2025. Each prize will be drawn once. The winners will be contacted by e-mail. The organizers' decision is final, and they will not enter into any correspondence about the draw. The competition is open to all adults (18+ years old) residing in Switzerland. Participants can enter the competition with a maximum of 1 attempt per day. Prizes cannot be claimed in cash or exchanged. The data will be used for conducting the draw, advertising purposes, and making contact by Sky Switzerland if consented to in the subscription form. This declaration of consent can be revoked at any time without giving reasons. The data will only be retained for as long as justified by the purpose or by law. During this time, Sky Switzerland will take all technical and organizational steps to protect the data from unlawful and improper processing. Data subjects may exercise their rights to their personal data at any time. The data will be deleted in accordance with data protection regulations once the processing purpose no longer applies or the retention period has expired, for a maximum of one year (12 months) following the end of the competition. Sky Switzerland SA employees and involved agencies are not allowed to participate.
Cancellation and Modification Rights of a Competition: The Organizer reserves the right to extend, shorten, cancel, or modify a competition at any time, at its sole discretion, during the participation period, particularly if compelling reasons necessitate it (for example, if the proper conduct of the competition cannot be ensured for technical or legal reasons) - without any claims for compensation by the participants. The Organizer also reserves the right to unilaterally modify the contest rules or adopt specific rules for one or more contests at any time.
Liability and Warranty Exclusion: Each participant releases the Organizer and any third party involved in the organization of the relevant contest from any liability related to the said competition. In this regard, the Organizer cannot be held liable in any way towards a participant or third party for any damages, including (but not limited to) indirect or consequential damages, including loss, loss of profits, loss of savings, production, contract, or business opportunity related to the competitions and/or the prizes and/or rewards offered. The Organizer assumes no warranty (including no warranty for defects) with respect to the prizes and/or rewards. In case of any defect or malfunction, winners cannot demand that the Organizer intervene to repair the prizes and/or rewards or replace them.
Tax Risks: Each participant is responsible for informing themselves about the potential tax consequences related to participating in the competition and/or receiving prizes and/or rewards. Each participant expressly waives any claims or requests for damages of any kind against the Organizer in this regard.
Disputes and Claims: Any claim must be sent by registered mail within 10 (ten) days following the occurrence of the triggering event - but no later than the end of the competition - to the Organizer. After this date, no claims will be accepted (loss of the right to claim - time-barred). Legal recourse is excluded for a participant. In this context, the Organizer reserves the right to definitively settle any dispute that may arise regarding the interpretation or application of the Rules, with the understanding that no disputes will be admitted, particularly regarding the contest's terms, results, prizes and/or rewards, or their receipt in accordance with the foregoing. The Rules are governed by Swiss law, and the legal venue is in Neuchâtel.
Game mechanics
By entering his/her email address and/or postal mail address and agreeing to these rules, each participant is entitled to participate in this competition a maximum of 1 times per day to win the daily prize. The prizes will be provided to the winner via email or sent physically to the Swiss postal address provided on the prize page. All winners will be contacted no later than January 31, 2026 and physical prizes will be sent before July 31, 2026, only in Switzerland.
In the context of this contest, any legal recourse is excluded. Sky employees and involved agencies are not allowed to participate.
